About TH3

After waiting 6 years for someone else to start a hash in Temecula, I've decided to go ahead and do it myself (what, am I nuts?)  Our community is ideal for a family-friendly hash, so bring your budding hashers and stroller-munchkins with you if you've got them.  New and experienced hashers are all encouraged to come.  Every hash begins with "chalk talk" where we explain the symbols and signs you're going to encounter on the hash, so no experience necessary!

You can either walk or run the trails (or both).  Our trails are in the 3 - 4.5  mile range.  A good trail is designed so the walkers and slower runners will still finish within 10-15 minutes of the front runners.  Of course, the pack is the true judge of whether a trail was good or not!

Trail's end is a party, called a "Down-Down" with food and drink (beer, soda, water, and juice).  Children, and adults who just act like children, are welcome at the Temecula hash.  All trails are jogging stroller-friendly.  Down-Downs are held in family-friendly environments.

Our inaugural hash was on Saturday, October 6th, 2007.  Initially we will only have one hash a month until other hashers are able and willing to hare trails.  New hares are always welcome!

Experienced hashers may need to change or modify their names (or rely on acronyms) to  become family-friendly for our hash. Newbies and hashers who have never been assigned a name, don't worry you will get your own "special" hash name at your 6th TH3 hash.

There will be RSVP forms for our first few hashes until we begin to get a fairly predictable amount of people.  These forms are to help me with estimating the amount of food and drinks to provide.  I know no one wants me running out of that stuff!

I look forward to meeting you,
